The Osteopath – Jonathan Nichols D.O.
Jonathan graduated from the British School Of Osteopathy – London in 1987. He is accredited by The General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the British Osteopathic Association. After graduating he worked for a large Osteopathic practice based in Herefordshire. His first practice was established in Clifton Village, Bristol in 1989.
In 1991 the Chepstow Osteopathic Clinic was established and in 1995 the Shirehampton Osteopathic Clinic was also opened. He has also worked in the remedial dance injuries clinic of the Arts Education School, London and as Osteopath to the ‘Bristol Old Vic’ theatre company.
With over 20 years experience Jonathan practices traditional ‘structural’ osteopathy, treating people of all ages, shapes and sizes for the widest possible range of conditions – with particular interests in both sports and performing arts related injuries.
Jonathan tries to maintain his own fitness by visiting the gym, alongside his other sporting interests of running, swimming, tennis and windsurfing (when time allows!)
Jon sails regularly, competing in offshore events like ‘The Fastnet’ and has completed an Atlantic crossing to the Caribbean.
He is also a keen musician – playing the violin in various local orchestras and groups.
